dock connector the same?

Is the dock connector on the new ipod the same as the one on the 4G? I'm asking specifically about compatibility with car chargers (like the sik imp). The problem with that is, not only does the connector have to fit, but the new ipod battery/power system must be compatible with the car charger. Does anyone know about either of these things?

Yes. All standard dockable devices, car charges, etc, will work with any dockable iPod from 3G on up. The power requirements and ports are identical for all iPods.dcmacnut at 2007-11-15 12:46:30 >
