For You Who Ordered The New IPod
I don't know if that has been posted...but...
I called in and I was asking the lady if I were to put in an order today when I would get it. She said around the 28, because it takes them 5 days to ship it to UPS, then 5-7 days to ship it to us.
There is a error on the 30GB ipod saying it's next day shipping, she said it was an error on the site.
I was going to order it, but after I found out this, I decided to just go get the new iPod when it is on shelves at my Apple Store. It will probably be there earlier than those who ordered it.

When I ordered my iPod last Christmas, it came a few days earlier than expected.
I figure this is the same case. Although the new iPods will be in more demand, I can see iPods coming to peoples' doors around the 26th or 27th.
I'm sure no one would expect a new piece of electronics to come from China to the US in one day flat. That's just not going to happen.

it was corrected last time i looked at the Apple site. and yeah, it will likely be faster for you to go to an Apple Store. of course, if tax is more than shipping, that might be enough to persuade you to shop online...i don't know.

That's true. So it makes me wonder, why would you order it online when you can get is sooner by going to the store?
Free engraving is the only option I see.

wait if the next shipping thing is wrongn then they better refund it, but then again i think it means that when it gets released u will get it right away.

what do you mean if tax is more than shipping? if you order it online, there's still tax, right? and shipping is free...so technically, everything would be the same (price wise) between buying it at the apple store and online, except that from the website, you can get free engraving.
Is this correct? :confused:
