iHome

I heard iHome is really good for its price (I found it for 80 bucks at my cost co :) but I have a 5G iPod and was wondering if anyone knew it would work. I know they sell adapters but they aint cheap. Does anyone know if the included dock adpater that came with the iPod will do the trick?

I bought an iHome a few months ago for my 3rd generation 20 GB iPod.

I upgraded to the new 5G 60 GB iPod last week. I was pleased that the 5G iPod worked perfectly with my iHome clock radio. I'm using one of the adaptors that was included with the iHome.

Well I have heard the 60 gig one works because its only like 10% thinner than a 4G 20 gig. But a 5G 30 gig, which I have, is much thinnner, so Im wondering if it will work.

All the iHome adaptor inserts do is provide a custom-fit backrest for your iPod while it sits in the dock. If your iPod is too thin for the adaptor you can use a small folded sheet of paper as filler.
