My apologies if this thread has been beaten into the ground. I plan to buy a new iPod Photo 60Gb. With the plethora of portable speakers available on the market, I really would appreciate your recommendations on the best sounding unit. Thank you.

Hi welcome to the forum.Can you tell us what you want to use them for as there are so many different styles available. Do you want them for travel, bedroom etc?

Thank you for the welcome. I am indeed impressed by the volume of information on all things iPod. Back to my question .....I will be primarily using the portable speakers for traveling. So. I am looking for excellent fidelity in a compact size. Thanks.

The JBL On Tour give you the best sound in the smallest package. The JBL On Stage gives you amazing sound, but it doesn't run on batteries.Galley at 2007-11-15 16:02:48 >
