Need advice for a case.
Hello. I'm going to try to make this short. I'm going to be getting an ipod pretty soon, and I was looking for a case.
Between the ones I've seen so far, I've considered these three:
1. Contour Design Showcase
2. Power Support Silicone Jacket
3. Icewear
After reading the reviews, I'm now considering either 1 or 2. I'd like to know what people who have these think of them. Also, I'd like to know if the Showcase is bulky, and is the back open without the belt clip?
Also, I heard that the Icewear, although nicely built, leaves the wheel and the screen open for damage.

I had a contour showcase for my 1gen iPod and it scrtches your ipod very very easily. As for screen protection you can buy PDA screen protectors pretty cheap (just make sure it doesnt melt on yoour screen!) and just cut them up!
You might be best off with two cases one skin sort of thing in a nice hard case!

Really? Your Contour Showcase scratched you iPod? I use the Contour Showcase, and I've never had such problems. The glass doesn't touch the screen and the iPod sits in there firmly. Yes it is bulky, but it's great protection. In the back, if you take off the clip, it's not open, portion of it is just glass. You can see the Apple logo in the back.
I dunno about the Power Support Silicone Jacket or the Icewear because I have not used them.. sorry. I've learned one thing though, never ever get a case without screen protection, if you do, cover it with a clear PDA protector of some sort.
I would recomend getting the Black Contour Showcase (Apparently the white ones turn into a "Nasty" yellow), and a wheel cap. Voila, your iPod is now protected. ;)
