Need Some Advice Regarding Nano Case

Sup Guys! How yall doing with your nanos and their shipments (if that's the case)?

Well, I ordered mine on September 25th, it is now the 27th of September, still "Processing Order"...Wonder how much longer...

Anyway, I've been looking into many cases, and I've drained down my choices to the following from 3 companies :
1) The Invisibility Shield
http://www.theinvisibleshield.com
2) The Crystal Shield from DecalGirl http://www.decalgirl.com
3) From DecalGirl too, a set of printed vinyl skins + Screen Armor 9set of 4)
4) The iSkin Duo by iskin.com

I've read throughout this entire forum, all pages (yes I'm obsessed about protecting my Nano, but I ain't the only one around these forums thankfully) and those were my last options. I need some feedback regarding which is best for me. I am VERY picky on looks and condition, and all these products seem to fit these requirements.

Here are my conclusions (mostly critical) for each case for the Nano:
- The invisibility shield provides good protection all around the iPod Nano while keeping its colour and logos exposed for show. The water quantity to use for the sticking process worries me though.
-The crystal shield of decalgirl looks good on the site, although I worry about its air bubbles reported by some members around the forums...
The Printed Skins from DecalGirl have got real good designs, but are the prints of high quality and resistant to scratches, smears and smudges? I don't really trust company descriptions, as they almost always either exaggerate or promote too much their products. So far we haven't encountered any reviews regarding the printed skins from DecalGirl, anyone who's got their hands on 'em on their Nano and who wish to share their opinions about it? The only downside I see for using this is the fact that the iPod Nano won't look like an apple product anymore (logo no longer shows, hides apple trademark), and so it'll look more like some kind of custom made mp3 player.
-And then comes the iSkin Duo, looks good, as I've used also iSkin for my now limited edition iPod Mini 2nd Gen 4Gb. However, the iSkin for Mini added quite a bulk to it, making it look bigger than normal. I'm concerned if this is also the case for the Nano, as this would destroy the whole purpose of its compact design >.<

PS: I've purchased a Black Nano, that's why I'm concerned about style, the screen's sensitivity to scratches and of course, the plastic body that attracts not only fashion marks, but scratches (and LOTS OF IT!).

If possible, I want the best protection for it while exposing at the same time its glossy, fancy black feel, without losing its miniaturity. However, I'll sacrifice looks for the sake of protection if that were the case, just as long as the Nano remains as small as it is now.

Thx guys in advance! I know this has been already discussed, but I really want some feedback on those following products.

Hi,

I just got my nano and the InvisibleShield ("IS") yesterday. I resisted opening the nano until I got back to where I could apply the IS in a clean, dry, dust-free environment (I'm stationed in Iraq right now, but that doesn't stop my 'Podding!).

I'm very impressed. I don't know how many photos you've seen, but the back cover protects the back, sides, top (except the Hold switch), and bottom (except the ports). I, like many, was concerned about water getting inside the iPod, but all I did was spray two pumps of Endust For Electronics on the iPod, and two more on the IS. It slid nicely until I was satisfied, which took me two tries. Now that it's on, I love the look. Most folks I show the iPod to don't even know it's there, and the ones who do understand why (and think it's cool).

Now that I've used this, I couldn't imagine using an "old-type" (LOL) skin or form-fitting case that I would have to drag it in and out of daily. The best part is the resale value, not only because it's scratch-free, but because I can explain what it's been protected by up until then!

I'm ordering another!

If that isn't a great review I don't know what is.

So how did you get the name "The Pope," if you don't mind me asking?

My first and middle names (heh, use your imagination). I could probably count the guys we *don't* have a nickname for on one hand...

:-P

I have seen a couple zCover cases, and I was just curious if the clear case for the nano would be semi-cloudy/translucent on a black one? Because as much as I'd like to shield up my Nano, I do not want to hinder the black feel it shows when you look at it (maximize the glossy black overall appearance ya know?).

The Pope, your opinion over the invisible shield makes me lean towards oh so ever more ^^ Thx for your advice

Well, I purchased online the Invisible Shield, I wonder how long will it take for a US-to-Canada shipment to arrive? All the other skins looked good to me, but the lifetime warranty (its a bonus, even though I'm probably gonna upgrade my Nano in the future) and the video simply amazes me. Not only that, the transparency is almost 100% effective, as you can see, based on user images and the official website, that the iPod Nano doesn't lose its black appeal ^^. The water still scares me, but I'm willing to take the risk if its a matter of style and protection combined, cause as we all know, black looks Sexayy ^___^
