Poor, anxious, and concerned.

Hey Guys,

So I bought by new Nano, and I love it. But I'm really afraid about scratching. I don't want to buy a new case or skin, and even though some of them are very cheap, I don't want to wait for it to be ordered. lol.

What are the best, easiest, "do it yourself" cases? Would just an old baby sock work? My only concern is the screen.

Thanks!

A simple do it yourself one.

You can get a business card wallet, small gadget pouch, or just buy a skin or something.

If I just put the thing in my pocket with nothing else in it, do you think itd still stratch?

oh yeah, definitely. I personally don't have one yet, but there are just tons of people saying that that's all that they're doing with it. Just putting it in a pocket with nothing else, taking it out, and seeing it all scratched up. Don't even risk that.

The soft sunglass pouches seem to be a great idea for protecting the nano.

So far I've avoided these Nano scratching threads, but I think it's time to intervene.

Just buy a cheap, and I mean really cheap, PDA screen cover and put it on the screen o fthe Nano. Scratches are inevitable and as long as the screen doesn't get scratched to hell to the point where it's unreadable, then the iPod will still function as normal.

I can't wait for the poll asking whether the Nano was people's first iPod, because it's really evident that alot of people new to the iPod world bought Nanos and weren't prepared for the fact that plastic DOES scratch. In fact, I'm gonna go start a poll right now.

*to the Nano board!*
