can the nano do notes?

anyone know if the nano has the "notes" feature, where you can store text files on it and view them on the screen?

The nano can do ANYTHING the full sized iPods can EXCEPT for charge with Firewire.

Neither component of this statement is true.

Regarding Firewire, the nano CAN charge via Firewire, but will not sync via Firewire.

Regarding everything else...
nano can't use iTrip/iTalk/PodWave-- anything that uses the extended headphone port.
nano can't do TV Out for slideshows.
nano can't record audio.
nano can't use the camera import features provided by the Camera Connector and Belkin accessories.

But yes... it does do notes.
