Pontiac G6 GT Auxiliary Input

I am looking for an auxiliary input to connect to my monsoon stock headunit with in-dash 6 cd changer for my pontiac g6 gt. I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find the modulator for it. Does anyone know where to buy it from?

I have a G6 GT with the Monsoon stereo (but without the six-disc changer). Since my Griffin iTrip doesn't work with the radio, I looked into a hard-wired unit. After all of my research, I have come to the sad conclusion that no such item exists yet. :(

I asked at Best Buy and Circuit City if another FM transmitter would work with the radio, but none of the employees knew.

You're looking for something like this FM Modulator (http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=80974&WT.mc_n=93&cm_keycode=93&cm_ite=1+PRODUCT&cm_cat=BIZRATE&WT.mc_t=U&cm_ven=COMPARISON+SHOPPING&com.broadvision.session.new=Yes&cm_pla=DATAFEED-%3ePRODUCTS&BV_UseBVCookie=No) that plugs in between you stereo and antenna. Much better than the wireless types.

Oh wow, according to the Circuit City site, the FM modulator *is* compatible with my car (too bad the clerks at CC couldn't tell me that when I was in the store).
Thank you, Sparkee!

Never trust a salesman, they sold me a $200 Peripheral iPod Module at Best Buy that 3 salesman insured it would work. When I got home the instructions said it worked all models of Honda Civic, except my '05 model.

You may also need a couple of antenna adapters, GM was using a smaller type. They should stock them at just about any stereo store.

I bought the DLO TransPod, and it works great in my 2006 G6 with Monsoon stereo. It's not hard-wired, but the sound quality is pretty good, IMHO (I can hear a slight difference between the music coming from the iPod and the factory stereo, and there's a very little hissing between songs; my husband says he can't tell the difference between the two inputs). The TransPod also charges and holds the iPod.

The only drawbacks are that you have to control the iPod (except volume) directly with the iPod itself (stereo and steering wheel controls do not work), and that I have to turn up the stereo volume with the iPod over the other inputs.
