What kind of cell/mobile phones do you guys have?

currently i have a LG VX6100.

previously i've had a Sony Ericson T61 and a Motorola Startac (quite possibly the worst phone ever...)

Sharp GX15 - currently.

Previously owned Sony Eriksson T610, and a Nokia 3310 (or something like that).

LG c1300..it sucks..im so getn a blackberry

nokia 3200. I love everything about it except for the crappy camera.

Sony Ericsson P910i smartphone.

Best phone out there in my opinion, though cant wait for the next one :).

I dun got one rite now, but I am getting one in the next few weeks, I live in the middle of nowhere so we dun got any good carriers, so I am thinking for a phone, I want a Kyocera Slider, they look awesome, if I had my choice, I'd get a Samsung slider that Verizon has (My brother has one)

It's cheap, it's small, and it's never left it's full battery status.

And most importantly. It's a phone which is mobile! Ha, what a unique feature!

Sony Ericsson k700i here, nothing outstanding it does it's job.

i dont have one, and proud of it. phones suck, i have an ipod, a camera, a brain(for numbers) and other peoples mobiles!

For those interested there's a superb article in the British GQ this month about a guy that doesn't own a mobile. The gist of it is that he thinks people become enslaved by them and it's a way for people you don't want to talk to (boss/relatives), to get into contact with you. Quite an interesting read.

But its just the general way in which you respond to people that makes them get a certain impression of you. Now I know no ones perfect, but if you want everyone else to treat you normally, you have to realize that you ARE doing something to provoke them, subconciously or not, you still are.

I actually have to agree with you on that...it's just that for the average person, seeing someone talk about having all these things, makes them feel as if that person is trying to make themselves seem better than everyone else, even if it's not the case. I'm sure everyone on this site has things that they are proud to have, it's just that some people enjoying telling everyone else about it, and some people like to keep it to themselves. So to have someone new come into the Lounge, and start talking about all these things that he has, it's just a little different, and the first way to react to it is to automatically think that the person is trying to show off..

For example, I've got an uncle who's a radiologist in Ohio, and well, let's just say he's well off. I like visiting his house because he's got all these things that I wouldn't normally see everday (100" projection TV, Porsche Boxster, etc.). But he doesn't go bragging about how rich he is and stuff, in fact, if you would have a casual conversation with him, you wouldn't exactly think to yourself, "this guy must be loaded!!" because he doesn't act like a stuck-up rich person.

Now I don't exactly know you, so I can't/won't make assumptions about you. Maybe you're a super-nice guy that got off on the wrong foot on these forums. Maybe you really are a pompous a$$. I can't tell by reading your posts on a forum on the internet, although I have a feeling that you're not purposely trying to come off as an a$$ or trying to brag about stuff you have, it just happens subconciously...So if the other members here wanna join me and put whatever happened in the past week behind them and start over with you, they're welcome to.

But if you want to earn people's respect on this forum, you ARE going to have to change your attitude a bit...it's going to be a little hard, but if people here can't accept you the way you're acting now, you're going to have to change just a bit, and so will they, that way we've got a functioning forum, where (for the most part) everyone gets along.

I have a Nokia 6100 - it is a phone. It is not a pseudo camera or MP3 player. It doesn't have games on it and it doesn't play movie clips on a tiny screen, which at my age with my failing eyesight I can barely see.
It is just a phone. That's what I have.

The new black Razr v3 is very smart looking. I love the design of the phone but I have been disappointed in Motorola. I bought a V60i about 2 years ago and having used Nokia's before it I had an awful job understanding the navigation and menu set up. It packed up in December. Dead. Unrepairable. So I went back to Nokia but the Razr was a fine looking phone - they seem to be giving them away just now here in the UK (well OK, only if you upgrade your airtime package) and I might just try the black v3...

Nokia 2600...my first phone...not too bad, though no bluetooth, infrared, downloadable games, camera, etc. etc. an all-out simple phone...colour screen of course...like it.

oh one last thing - the phone is a magnet for thumbprints, skin grease marks etc LOL!!

I once had a Mottorolla, I forgot to add that to my list at the start.

I think it was a V66i... Anyway, I found the navigation to be absolutly terrible! And the Mottorolla version of T9 is really hard to get used to, and very slow. I much prefere the way Nokia lay out their phones and the Nokia T9.

Very true :) Though in that case, Motorolla should just go with the flow and switch their menu system to a more 'ease of use' Symbian OS.

I have a Motorola V710. I would enjoy the phone much more if Verizon (my service provider in the US) hadn't crippled the features that make it a top of the line phone. For example, the bluetooth only supports the use of a headset, but does not support file transfer or syncing (you must send files through verizon's pay service, and sync with software and a data cable) and the expandable memory (uses a really itty bitty card called TransFlash) is useless because you can't use the cards to put anything on or take anything off the phone! Verizon forces you to use their pay service. I was very upset after all the hype about the bluetooth phone that none of its features actually work. Well, I can use the speakerphone and Get It Now to get games. But I could do that with any other phone as well.

Such is why I'm not holding out much hope for a bluetooth feature on the iPod. There's too much potential for companies to make money by crippling bluetooth, apple included, for any use other than to support a headset. That's all I can really forsee for the future.

Feel this Fire, I own the V710 and I Did *not* know about the flashcard thing. Thanks for letting me know. You *CAN*, however, use BT as a modem for your computer, like that makes sence.

It's possible that if your provider is not Verizon, you can still use this feature. As far as I know, though, Verizon is the only source of this phone in the US, so you're probably in the same boat.

Bluetooth as modem? wow, there's a useful feature. I can take 56 Kbps and slow it down by half in order to wirelessly use my phone. That's just so practical.

I'm very frustrated with Verizon for what they did to what could have been a great phone.

It's a Sagem My V55! I absolutly love it! Infared is great and works perfectly, the screen is clear and very easy to see, the camera quality is perfect, and it is a general all round great phone!

The quality of the pictures the integrated camera makes are just amazing, and the best part is the fact that it has a memorycard slot (Sony's Memory Stick Duo, it came with a 64 mb card). I know SE has a very nice K750i site that's worth checking out.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm actually seriously thinking about buying the iTunes phone. If I can find a shop open, I'm going to go try it out. At first I wasn't that impressed, but the fact that you can buy songs with iTunes really has sold me.

I'm not totally sure I'm going to buy it, but if I fall in love with it at the shop, then I'm going to have to! :D

I have a LG 3100 I think it is called. It's not even advertised on the site for LG. I think the reason for that is that the phone was free for me. Hahaha.
