What do you think of my photography work?
Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I have always loved my cat. She is a very good looking cat, she is 10-15 years old, so I decieded to take some pictures of her. Bear in mind that I am a a beginner photographer, I have no plans of making it a hobby or anything. It was taken on an older Digi cam(It still uses 3.5" Floppys!) So the quality isn't great but I think they are really good. Fell free to critize, I did all this in about 10 minutes, so it wasn't like I was trying REALLY hard for good pictures, I just thought they came out good. All the good-semi good pics are

I never knew cats had such long tongues. You seem to be pretty good at capturing a moment, well done.

Wow, those are very good pictures. I could never get any good pictures of any one of my four cats.
What a cute cat.

if you want the straight out truth.. they arent that great, maybe its your hardware maybe you dont have the eye
example first one your flash is messing up with the color of the hairs of the cat. also its not very clear due to your hardware and the positioning of the cat isnt that great

I'm just not sure I like looking that close into a cat's mouth. Sorry.
I prefer landscape photography !!

I've been waiting for someone to say that. I've seen better photos from cheap web-cams.
As a professional Photographer I must say that they are extremely not-good. Half the problem is your composition, focus, and metering, the other half is your equipment. I'ds say it's time to treat yourself to a new camera.

Like I said, I was jsut doing this on a whim, and I am not planning to do a lot of photography, the camera is one from late 2000 and dun have a lot of quality, and I didn't really try that hard on them, I just thought they looked good

You people are harsh. The second photo is not that bad. Filling the frame can be a good form of composition. Besides, look at that tongue! The best way to learn as a photographer is to take lots of pictures. It's a good start. =)
