Whats the best Mac forum?

I'm the proud new owner of a Powermac G5. My first Mac ever. I need some basic help with some newb stuff.
Can anybody recommend a really good and really *active* Mac forum?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi, how's it going :)

Make yourself welcome at the iOnMac Forums (www.forums.ionmac.com). They are a very active forums run by several iPodloungers - you may notice the button in people's signature area.

It is a very friendly and welcoming community, and I hope to see you there soon!

Yo man. The following are a few that I frequent

Small Apple Forums (Currently down) (www.smallapple.org)
MacAddict Magazine Forums (www.macaddict.com/phpbb2)
MacNN Forums (http://forums.macnn.com)
MacUser Group Singapore Forums (www.macusersg.org/forums)

Happy posting! :D

iOnMac without a doubt. iOM has a huge, yet very humble community. iOnMac also holds the forums for iPodSoft.com
*link in signature for iOM*.

(something tells me this is going to end up in a flame war...)

EDIT: You said "Really Active", well, iOnMac does have active posting every day. The website's forums currently has 428 members. There is always something to talk about at iOM, and you can find all the help you need with your mac at iOM.

Let's not go into that.

No point getting a thread closed...*shrugs

A totally unbiased answer - http://discussions.info.apple.com/

You don't have to wade through acres of signature graphics and annoying avatars to find the info you want...

I recommend MacRumors for very, very active forums, with many knowledgeable and friendly people, and iOnMac for a friendly smaller community.

Another good source is Apple's discussion forums.

I actually like Mac-Forums and the MacAddict forums as well as iOnMac, but then again I'm pretty biased...

Kris, what happened to SAs forums?

One of Jimmy's friends was not very honest with him. You can ask him if you would like...

I'm sure Jimmy wouldn't mind telling you...

Anyway, it's just some minor issues. We'll be back. Soon. :p
