Someone must be able to help me...

I have an AMD Athlon 2400 box with 512MB memory.

I bought a 40GB ipod & loaded iTunes etc onto my machine - no problem, sees the ipod, updates it, everythings fine.

So I then decide to get a Shuffle (512) for the gym. I plug it in, the machine recognises it, all seem well. Until that is, my machine is rebooted following installation.

I now plug the shuffle in, itunes loads up, the shuffle is shown then disconnects, reconnects, disconnects, reconnects etc etc etc. starts to update the shuffle (sometimes) & then just locks up my machine - solid, can't end task, only option is to press reset. has anybody had any similar problems and whats the solution?

I've been getting desperate, I've installed a brand new HD, reinstalled XP Pro SP2, all drivers etc from scratch & it still does it............:mad: :mad: :mad: :confused: :confused:
