Ipod Problem please help!
HELP! I've just reformatted my computer, which deletes everything. So my iTunes program was deleted too, but the thing is i still have have my songson my ipod. I reinstalled the Ipod Updater program and, itunes. But then a message popped up sayin my Ipod wasnt reinstalled correctly that I should try again. Well I did just that and the message still shows up! I can't add or delete songs to my Ipod no more because of that message. How do I get my Ipod to connect wih my Itunes?
PS. I tried the Ipod tutorial at apple.com, I've tried to restore my Ipod, but the Ipod service failed. So I'm stuck! Please help!! Post back or contact me asap. Icygurl259@yahoo.com

If you are on a PC, try using a program like ipodagent to extract those songs from your ipod.
After your songs are safely saved somewhere, restore your ipod (this will delete your songs so be sure they are backed up on your computer first). Then connect restored iPod to your computer and see if you can set it up.

Yeah I've tried to restore it but when I open up my Ipod Updater 2005-3-23 a message shows up saying, "Ipod Sevice Error" and they leave me no choice but to click on the button "OK". So I can't restore my Ipod.. any ideas?
