Would love some help :) 1st gen 20 GB windows Ipod that used to work fine on Win2K machine w/ Unibrain Firewire card won't work at all on New Lappy Using Windows XP Pro & same firewire card. Took a huge leap of faith & reformatted my once lovely & beautiful full 20 gb .. now i'm floating in the sea w/ no tunes ;(

Errors with Music Match 7.50.5005 - Can't get the Wipod to mount. consistantly. Unplug firewire cable, remove card, re-insert card... the ods of getting it to mount have been about 2 out of 20. Once mounted, I've run Wipod updater 1.3 -- runs fine. Asks me to unplug from firewire & plug into power source.. do that it works fine. Reconnect to PC - go thru the whole issue of not being able to mount the wipod.

Errors with iTunes 4.1 -- started from scratch -- after format, installed itunes, itunes rec'd wipod, says it's updating wipod - error message "The ipod can not be updated, the required folder can not be found.":confused:

I've been digging in FAQ's for 2 days.. :( help... someone ... please
