i recently lost all the songs on my ipod... but the ipod says it is still using the memory for it, which leads me to believe that the songs are there, just not accessible.

i used ephpod and and it said that the ipod did not have the proper directory structure for whatever reason. i figured rebuilding it would restructure all the files properly and all would be well... but now it says it cannot create the directory ipod_control.

any ideas? and is my music salvageable?
