I'm using a 3G 20GB iPod, and I've decided to update from 2.0.1 to 2.1.
I've been using Firmwear 2.1 for 20 minutes and here's what I've come up with:

1. The updater behaved oddly - the iPod itself was done with the update, but it didn't register with the updater.

2. I have to disconnect (manually) the docking cable following ejection (that's a well known issue)

3. I have lost all the sound level data inside the iPod, so iTunes is now trying to "sound check" my entire library.
