Let me first say that I'm sorry if this is a duplicate post...I didn't see my exact problem though.

I bought a 40GB Ipod a couple of days ago. I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with Windows XP. After realizing that I needed a Firewire card, I went to Best Buy and bought the one that the guy recommended, a Belkin FireWire 3-Port PCI Card.

I inserted the card into Port 4. When I rebooted I got a message during startup that said "Plug and Play Configuration Error . Press F2 for Setup". I pressed F2 but that stuff is way beyond my technical knowledge so I didn't mess with it.

When I looked at it using Device Manager, it had a yellow box with an exclamation point which indicates a problems. It said 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)'. I then tried the troubleshooting but that just said to restart, reinstall, or check the card insert, none of which worked. :confused:

Can anyone help me with these errors? Thanks a ton
