I was running successfully with iTunes 4.1 on XP on two different PCs - stupidly I upgrades iTunes to 4.1.1.54 on both and neither now work.

I can see the iPod as a windows disk on both machines, I can use EPHPOD to sync, add and delete from the iPod.

iTunes "helper" reports that and Ipod has been detected but the Ipod Driver software is missing and suggests a reinstall.

Tried this "take two asprins and go to bed" remedy several times with no success.

Any ideas?
