ephpod help

i've tried just about everthing i can think of, but i'm still stuck.
i've loaded some songs to ephpod, and selected(highlighted) them, but when i try to sync to ipod, i keep getting message 'you have NOT selected any directories to syncronize'.
tried to load winamp playlist as well, and still getting same message :(
i've tried the musicmatch thing... that never worked! said won't work with 98se, that's why i'm trying ephpod. searched around for ephpod help on this, but can't find anything close to my prob.

what else can i try?

why does ipod(apple) make it so HARD for 98se users

anybody want a ipod cheap?

please HELP?

You need to delete your iPod Control folder. What you need to do is go into the iPod folder on your hard drive and set your folders to "show all hidden folders".

There will be an iPod control folder. You need to delete this so ephpod can create it's own.

You have to do this while the iPod is connected.

but when i do this, ephpod tells me i can't continue un less it rebuilds a ipod directory structure.
then i go check windows explorer, and the control folders are back! arghhh!
might i ad it's version 2.58Ephpod ... also been getting many freeze up and crashes ever since i d/led this stuff!
just about ready to toss this thing :(

Go back to 2.57 or whatever it was. I think this is the newest version and it's not stable enough yet.
