hey, im using a 3g (30gig) pod with windows me. it wont let me use musicmatch and the ipod manager doesnt recognize it, but if you use a 3rd party application, like xplay or ephpod it works perfectly fine for me. usb wise, i suggest you get a usb2 card cuz usb1 will be extremely slow. good luck.

Buy a $12 firewire card, sheesh. :P

You can't use ME with iTunes, but you can use other programs with it I think. Upgrade to XP.

It will take you a whole day to fill your iPod with USB 1.1, so either waste your time, or buy a firewire card.

Adam he said keep Win ME.

Either use ephpod, or change to 2000. I dont recommend XP, resource hog, and bugged to death.

As Yus said, buy a firewire card, your iPod will die before you fill it. Too slow.

XP is much faster and more stable when properly tweaked. They both use the same kernel, so they use pretty much the same amount of resources (when themes are disabled).
