even more questions...

Hmm, I'm bluffing my way thru iPod use (using MusicMatch) at the moment, help appreciated:

How do I change the labelling of songs once they're on the iPod but deleted from my hard-disk (ie get them off the iPod, tinker with them, them put 'em back)?

Which is the best PC music (iPod compatible) program? Do they all have the same standard (eg same volume levelling standard) so my iPod quality remains unchanged?

I have a live session on tape, which is now on my PC as one long .wav. How do I split it (at the songs) into seperate files? This would also help when CDs have tose annoying 'hidden tracks'... Any good free mp3 splitting program out there?

cheers

itunes lets you edit the labeling on the songs in your ipod without having to transfer them back and forth between you ipod and mmjb. but if you must use mmjb, just put the ipod songs in the playlist and go to file>export playlist tracks (don't forget to select transfer as-is so it doesn't convert it to wave) to get the tracks off the ipod and back onto your computer.
