Ipod issues 2.1
ok, I have noticed a couple of wierd things.
1. If I have itunes open, and plug in the ipod, it tells me that the proper software is not installed, and I have to re-instal itunes to make it work with the ipod. If I leave the ipod in cradle, and reboot, it will work. odd.
2. I have noticed since updating to 2.1, in the moring when I take the ipod off the cradle, It shows as 3/4 charged, but I get to work, and turn it on, and it is still at 3/4, but over the next hour, it climbs to full charge, and then drains from there, the battery life is still the same as it was though. very strange.

Can confirm your power-problem:
After Charging my 3G 10gig iPod with new firmware 2.1 over night, 3/4 of power bar, after listening a li'l bit, maybe 7/8 but it never gets to 100%. I think the playtime is the same, just the indicator is weird.
Strange.
Your first point never happened to me - iTunes is working perfectly for me, glad i did not spend 35 euros for mc9.

Actually it happened to me for the first time this morning. My battery was almost drained.
After charging my 3G iPOD (2.1 firmware, docked and unmounted) for the whole night, i re-opened it and the battery meter was still at the same spot. Later on today, the battery showed as being full.
The meter is coucou!!!
