I'm at the point of almost regretting buying the ipod. had it for a few days and have had so many problems with windows and how things work and pc freezing and crashing i'm almost regretting it...

This is my latest problem that i hope someone can help me with.

When i connect the ipod to the computer parts of it freezes. I can use some buttons, but the whole toolline at the bottom freezes and basically all i do is to restart the machine. When i do that everything works fine with the ipod connected and i can use ephpod. The i release the ipod using the "remove hardware thing" (have removed ipodmanager). Then if i remove the ipod from the dock everything is well..

But if i put the ipod back in the dock it connects automatically with the pc (i have win xp). But then the problems start...

Anyone got any idea of how to ifx it or do i just have to start all over again, reformat the ipod and do everything like from when i got it? seems like the problem is with windows not the ipod?

while i was writing this, read itunes came for windows...seems worth getting...
