Still Confused about AAC
I use MC 9 to manage my mp3 collection. But I have no way to deal with AAC files. I can wait until iTunes for Windows comes out to get them on the iPod, but how can I play these files at home on a computer that has MC 9?
Thanks

iTunes is software for your computer, to use with your iPod. You can play the AAC files on your computer using iTunes.
Take a look at http://www.apple.com/itunes/ to get an idea of what it may/will be like.

Will Winamp work with MC 9 (ie not cause crashes of either etc)?

Yes, winamp only plays songs, so it couldn't care less about MC9. If your getting Winamp then get the classic version at http://classic.winamp.com/.

So I downloaded Winamp and an mp4 plug-in -
MP4 input plugin for Winamp2 2003-08-06
ICL7 compile. Decodes HE AAC.
But they don't seem to be working together still don't see the mp4's on my computer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well... why is happiness such a swiftly fading flower?
It turns out winamp2 can play the AAC's nicely but has no library function, so it's just one giant playlist.
And winamp3 can't play them (but seems to have a nice library).
Am I missing something?
