Hey there guys and gals, perhaps someone out there can help me. I have the older style 20 G Ipod, and use a HP Laptop, and have enjoyed it for several months and transfered about 50 CD's or so. Now when I try to transfer, it doesnt even show my ipod being connected, and it says "Portable Devices - 0". Also, when I try to go into any software, it says "iPod watcher cannot start, iPod service not running". LOL What the heck does that mean? So far I have called Apple (they wouldnt help without 50 bucks) and I have removed and reinstalled the CD that came with my iPod. Anyone have any ideas, or anyone who has had similar problems? Thanks a bunch!!!
