Do not disconnect message and RealPlayer files
Hi, I can't use my brand new 40gig iPod on my Mac at home until I upgrade the processor from a G3 to a G4 so that I can run OSX, which I ordered and won't be here for 12 more days. So, I decided to take it to work where I have a brand new PC running XP with Firewire card (VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller). I've installed the software twice, but all I get on the iPod screen is a circle with a slash thru it and a Do not disconnect message. What am I doing wrong? I've tried uninstalling, then restoring, but still get the same message. Can you please help?
Also, I wondered if I can import all of my RealPlayer files from my Real Jukebox into Musicmatch?

I can answer the Real Player question, and it's no. Sorry.

If I understand you, the Do Not D/C icon on the iPod screen is completely normal. That means it is connected to your computer. I haven't used MusicMatch with my iPod, so I don't know what you need to do after that. You can change the behavior of the iPod Manager by right clicking on the icon in the sytem tray and click on iPod Manager.
You might want to check the MusicMatch forum also. I'm far from an expert, only had my baby for 3 days.
