Using American iPod on UK power?

Hi there people

Basically, i live in the UK (London) and i have bought a 3G 30GB ipod from the states, it should be here over next couple of days (darn postal strikes :() anyways i already have a 3G 10GB which i plan to sell when this one arrives...my question is this:

If I used an ordinary power socket converter - (which does NOT change the voltage in any way) do I run the risk of causing any problems with my US ipod? (eg. blowing any circuits due to a change in voltage...or is the voltage in both countries the same?) Basically all the converter/adapter will do is instead of a 2-pin power plug- it'll turn it into a 3-pin normal British plug which will enable me to charge :)

I could actually just force the US plug into the British socket but its just too much hassle.

OR...

I could just use the wire that i have at the moment, but i plan to include it with my 10GB when i sell it...i think

Any thoughts?

I don't get that FAQ bit at all - So do you need an adaptor if you don't have a two prong socket??
