We all know that the I-pod is the ultimate digitial music player, and there has always been much scope for genres of music. But i wonder what is the must have song, which every ipod owner should have on their i-pod.

Neat idea for a thread

If I were going to tell anyone to have something on their iPod it would be anything or everything from John Cale's Paris 1919 album.

That, and track 3 from the Morehead State University's Chamber Choir CD that I received a few weeks back. I don't even know the name of the track, but it is without a doubt one of, if not THE most beautiful song I've ever heard in my life.

By the way - note to Chrisp - my pal Steve met Iron Maiden on Friday (December 12th).

A friend of his knows one of the band, so they both went to a show in London and had backstage passes.

He got to meet Bruce ####enson and the rest of the band. I got a text message from him just after 23:00. He was over the moon.

I was reading all these artists and I noticed that you guys forgot one of the biggest bands of all time:

What the heck happened? Did everyone forget already? I mean you just GOTTA HAVE A QUEEN SONG.

I think the best song "Bohemian Rhapsody" should be on everyone's ipod. I don't care if you don't like rock music. Queen is an absolute must.

Other songs that I think are important are:
Paranoid Android - Radiohead (the most played song for Radiohead probably)
Yesterday - Beatles (another overplayed song, but a must)
Pachabel Canon (you need some classical music in order to calm down in the sophisticated world we live in)
