Neo-Soul

It seems as though everyone is really into there rock and their classical music. But i was wondering whether there are any lovers of Neo-Soul, and slo music. My favourites artists include Chico Debarge, Tyrese and Dwele. But i also like the older music such as Marvin Gaye, The Commodors, The Supremes and the Whispers. I was wondering whether there is anyone else out there that enjoys a similar style of music. If there are i wonder whethr they could recommend a few tracks, because i am getting bored of the same old songs on my Ipod and i believe that i need to be refreshed.

Cheers

You cannot go wrong with Otis Redding for some older soul and if you like Jill Scott, she has a great live album out. Oh and check out Remy Shand for some "mood" music.

Donnie ("The Colored Section"). And Neo-Soul would not exist if it had not been for Stevie Wonder. I notice you haven't mentioned any female artists but Angie Stone is fabulous as well.

"Blue Lines" by Massive Attack. It's a modern classic.

one of my top 25 most played is "Nightshift" by the Commodores.

I have a fair amount of Lionel Richie on mine as well.

I like pretty much everything.
