euPOD volume booster
this is hardly techy so please dont move it!
hey everyone i finally registered, i've been looking at the forums for months but for some reason never registered.. weirdo..
i got euPOD today, did it.. excellent piece of software BUT i was wondering.. do i have to hit the "update" button everytime i put new Mp3's on my ipod, in order to boost the volume and swindle those EU boys?
In other words if i put a new Mp3 on will it not have been volume boosted?

It's not techie, but it is platform specific. It's also about Windows Software, so I'm moving it to the Windows Software board.

correct as soon as you put a new mp3 on you ipod it wont be boosted. just remember to run the program every time before you unmount it for play. the new version even has an automatic update and quit feature so you dont even have to click any buttons really!

yeah but it's a beta version it felt a big dodgy as it is so i thought i'd get the tried and tested version

the beta ones cant do anything bad to your ipod so even though it is beta its perfectly safe. i just keep the first version on my ipods hdd so that i can boost quickly after an update of songs. besides it only takes 2secs!

Yeah but do you have to first update all the songs to their "normal" level and THEN boost by 30 or 40 or 60 %? Or can you just hit "update to __%" and that be it?

just hit update. doin so wont boost your songs by another x% again on top of your old boost just update the mp3's that havent been done. if theres no new songs nothing will change. hope that helps
