Surely it is possible to create a VolumeBoost for Mac like Esspens sweet program? After using iTunes to increase the volume of my AAC tracks I found a great deal of clipping when playing back through my Powerbook (the iPod was fine). Can someone please develop a tool like VolumeBoost which just alters the database on the iPod for Macs.

Is there a way of making the AACs on the iPod louder but normal on the Powerbook, two databases?
