I already had MMJB..but then I got IPod/ITunes

Hi

I've been using Music Match Juke Box (currently on version 8.1) ever since I got my Dell XP about a year ago.

This week I bought IPod for Windows and also downloaded ITunes. When I installed IPod on my PC it tried to also install Music Match 7.5 (I think that's the version) I got a lot of funky error messages during the MMJB part of the install. The rest seemed to work properly. I'm assuming the erros were because I already had a version of MMJB on my PC?

Should I just uninstall MMJB since I have ITunes? The only thing I"m worried about by ditching MMJB is all the CD/Album art that I had tagged...it doesnt seem like ITunes has Album Art that works as good as MMJB.

Thanks a ton - great board by the way

Download the 8.1 product and reinstall that. You probably stepped all over the original install you had with the MMJB 7.5 product.

The key on the CD is also good for the 8.1 product so you can unlock the plus features.

When getting the 8.1 MMJB make sure you download the full version, not the install manager version. Get it from the upgrade page.

Heres the link ...
http://www.musicmatch.com/download/free/?OS=pc&DID=999990944

If you need the iPod Manager then you can get it from the MMJB menu "Download Plugin for Portable"
Its the same iPod manager thats on the cd.

PS: Ignore the popups complaining that your removing a custom version of MMJB. The custom part is just cosmetics.
