how can I mount my iPod as a Windows drive?

I have a new iPod working great with iTunes under Win2K but it doesn't show up as a removable drive. I have updated to iPot 2.1 software. Any tips?
One other datapoint, the iPod manager cannot see my iPod but iTunes can.

If you look at the bottom right corner of the itunes window, you'll see an ipod button when your ipod is synching. Click on it and select disk mode. Now you can put files on it.

I had the same problem. My ipod would sync automatically, update my songs and eject itself when I wanted to use weather4me on it. I took off the auto-eject and enabled disk mode and now I have my weather on my pod.

Thanks so much for your help--it is working perfectly now. Interestingly, my iPod came with the 2.0.x system software and was working fine as a drive until I downloaded and installed the 2.1 upgrade from Apple. I guess they changed the default behavior.
