imported Itrip but cant see stations.

Hi

This is a strange one.

I've imported the Itrip stations into MC9 but can't see them in the library.

Tried searching with no results but they must be there because if i import a second time MC9 scans the files but does not find any new ones to import, so MC9 can see them in the library but I can't.

Any clues?

Thanks

Hm...maybe they aren't tagged right? Other folks haven't had problems.

What happens when you click on the Recently Imported playlist?

i figured would be best to start from scratch so i've deleted the itrip station mp3's fropm the harddrive and downloaded the software from griggin's website, when i ran the installer it needed musicmatch installed first, having done that i've now got a file called itrip stations.3mu which i assume is all the different frequencies. this won't import into mc9...any idea what to do next?

Thanks

...forget the last mail, i've found the newly installed stations as mp3 files on the hard drive *however* got the same probelm.

the files are named 100-1.mp3 and so on for all the individual frequencies. when i import into mc9 it scans all the files but does not find any new files, but when i look in the library can can't see any of the itrip mp3 files.

this is weird because these trip mp3 are in a different location to the files i deleted so i would expect mc9 to think they are new...any idea what to do?

Thanks

...then i noticed the itrip mps file size is much smaller than most music mp3 so i made a playlist limiting the file size, no itrip radio stations appeared...so for some reason mc9 thinks it has imported the files when it hasn't...

ok, figured it out...by manually dragging and dropping itrip mp3 files into mc9 library i've now got a griffin technology file in artists and have created a playlist of these files, so presumably they should transfer when i next sync...stange how the import function didn't work its fine with all other mp3 files...

cheers!

The import didn't work because the files are less than 5 seconds long I bet.

When you next import, click the "Advanced" button. There is an option there to skip files < 5 seconds. I'll bet that's checked on yours.

And the .m3u is just a playlist file, so you were right that that wouldn't do it.

Glad you figured it out.
