ephpod/win98se NEWBIE

i've tried just about everthing i can think of, but i'm still stuck.
i've loaded some songs to ephpod, and selected(highlighted) them, but when i try to sync to ipod, i keep getting message 'you have NOT selected any directories to syncronize'.
tried to load winamp playlist as well, and still getting same message
i've tried the musicmatch thing... that never worked! said won't work with 98se, that's why i'm trying ephpod. searched around for ephpod help on this, but can't find anything close to my prob.

what else can i try?

why does ipod(apple) make it so HARD for 98se users

anybody want a ipod cheap?

please HELP?

First off, please do not cross post.

Second, read my reply in the other thread you posted.

sorry about that, but i didn't realize there was an Ephpod section and i wasn't getting any responses form my original post ...
let me try what you suggested, and i'll let you know what happens.
i'm on the verge of losing it with this thing!
