Try iAppoint. It will import both calendar events and contacts as a single file, thus doing away with the need to make separate vCards from your Outlook contacts. It works well, it's free, but documentation is sparse.

I searched hi and low for something to help with vcards on outlook express and found nothing. It appears in Outlook Express the only solution is to export individual vcards. Time consuming as it is.

Sorry maxdido, I was only trying to help. Other than that I have no idea, other than using Ephpod and doing them by hand, within the program.

OK I am not at home but I believe you do it like this.

Open up your address book. Then highlight a contact and File/ Export / vCard.

Its somehting like that anyway. If you have your IPOD connected and I presume set to be able to use as a drive you can then save the vCard direct to your contacts folder in IPOD.

i use outlook 2002 sp2. and i have to export each contact one at a time.

it takes me like 5 mins to export 88 contacts.

i know it sucks and i wish office has a batch vcard export function but alas i couldnt find it so i went the good ol manual way.

you know what would be better is if you could drag and drop a contact to your ipod from outlook. it is a differnt file encodeing but its alot easier then exporting.

I'm using Outlook Express 6 and all I've done is after I've typed in the Vcards pressed the Addresses button and selected all the cards and dragged and dropped them into the contacts folder for ipod. That seems to have worked well for me.

Outpod will export them from Outlook, and I would assume Outlook Express.

Torok I would not assume that. Other software I found will work with Outlook but not with Outlook Express. I would therefore assume that Outpod would be the same.
