Rebuilding the Ephpod Database

I did a stupid thing today, I disconnected my iPod with the eject hardware icon before I had closed Ephpod.

I plugged the iPod back in and closed Ephpod saying yes to the update the iPod with changes dialog and now I have no music on the iPod!!!

If I look at the iPod with Windows Explorer the mp3 files are still there, all 7GB of them however none are in the database.

Can I get them put back without reloading them?

Do I have to copy them back? If so do I need to format the iPod first?

How ddo I clear the iPod to start again?

Help!
