Will i lose my library by uninstalling mmjb?

My ipod isn't getting recognized by my computer (it has worked many times in the past) my search of old forums have revealed that it may help to uninstall and reinstall mmjb. However, i don't want to lose the countless hours i have spent organizing tags, playlists, etc. Is there any way to ensure i don't lose this data?

Info is as such:
3G 15Gig ipod
Windows ME
ADS Pyro1394DV firewire card.

tags are in the mp3's themselves, not mmjb, so you won't lose those.

A normal uninstallation of MusicMatch should not erase your library. The uninstallation does not delete your library file. However if you want to be sure that you don't lose your library: go to

C:\Program Files\MUSICMATCH\MUSICMATCH Jukebox\Library\Default.ddf

That is your library file. In the chance that you ever delete the MUSICMATCH folder in C:\Program Files, you can just recopy over your saved Default.ddf file over to your new installation and your library will be preserved.
