copying from ipod to mc9

i had to reformat my puter, and i tried to right click and copy files from ipod to mc9. i got a message that says some portable files are not in mc database and could not be updated.
any ideas?

Never seen that error message before.

Ok, you're right clicking the songs in iPod view and selecting download to PC right?

Can you post the exact error message?

i nedded to mark all the songs, and then right click, and it worked. what did not work is doing it from the left pane by right click. i guess you need to ctfl-a all the songs 1st.
