Artist listings
This isn't really a problem, but I can't seem to figure this out. I have a 2G iPod (10GB) on Windows, and I use Musicmatch. For some reason, there are some artists and groups that have multiple listings on my ipod, but only one listing in Musicmatch. Am I missing something?

No, you're not missing anything. This seems to be a fault in MusicMatch that affects many iPod owners. For example, songs or artists with a "period" in the name seems to result in multiple listings. Rather than syncing MMJB with your iPod - which seems to make the problem worse - try dragging and dropping onto the iPod symbol in Device Manager.

This is not a problem with MMJB nor your iPod! All you need to do is edit the ID3 tag on each song. Make sure that all artist (who sang the same song) is literally correct! If you have spaces or any punctuation, it will be listed as different artist (or genre). The best practice is do not type the artist's name on every ID3 tag. Use the copy command so that you know that you have the exact spelling of the artist!
I did this to my 3047 songs and let me tell you, it is not funny at all!

In the past, I?ve found that its a conflict with ID3v1 and ID3v2 Tagging. If you use a program like winamp or tagscanner, you can view both tags. MusicMatch will sometimes mess up and change one of them when you edit them and not the other tag version.

that too, but I still have found that its not always perfect. Ive used MMJB since like it first came out, great software, just got some bugs
