Drag and drop on explorer

I am interested in getting an ipod. Will it hook up to my PC like an external hard drive so i can drag and drop files onto it using explorer? I know the zen can do this, can the ipod? I'm torn between the two. Thanks for any help. -JP

Yes it can, but you can't do this with mp3 you want to hear, as it needs to check them in.
