MuiscMatch/ipod ??

I have MusicMatch already on my pc from a RCA mp3 palyer I had (and returned the next day).
It was the basic MMJB that I have since upgraded to v8.0.
Now, if I get an iPod...will it work w/ the MM already on my pc or is the one that comes w/ the pod 'different' ?

The one that comes with the iPod is 7.5 Plus but it includes a pug-in for the iPod.

I d/l the plug-in for MMJBv8 from the MM website. The only problems I have encountered so far are:
1. My playlists have 3 copies of each song - I think because I've sync'd the thing 3 times.
2. The portable window in MMJB does not show songs that have a "." in the tag.

I'm biding my time until iTunes for Windows comes out. If it is good, I'll switch. If not, I may consider one of the alternatives to MMJB.
