Convert MAC IPOD TO WINDOWS IPOD - IS IT POSSIBLE?
I have a MAC ipod but am wanting to use it to transfer music onto it from a windows xp system.
I have installed the system updater software for windows but when I go to update, it says that the ipod is not connected. I therefore cannot restore/update my ipod.
The ipod was originally used on a mac, but when I checked the about screen, it displays "format windows."
Is there a way of formatting the disk so that windows will recognise it? or am I wasting my time.
Alternatively, does anyone know of any specialists in the UK that can convert my mac ipod to a pc ipod?
Hope that someone can help!!!

ya, it's totally possible. BUT you have to erase the data on it and reformat it. theres a download @ apple.com. there are some programs out there that alow you to get music off the ipod onto the computer, but i don't think it will go from windows ipod to mac or vice versa. they use different encoding.
hope i addressed your question...
