If I leave my iPod plugged in during a login and then proceed to launch iTunes. Any system items in the MenuBar...lock up. Whenever I mouse over a system menubar icon the mouse pointer turns into the spinning pinwheel.

Also my iPod will not be recognized even after I reset it and relaunch iTunes. The only way to get my MenuBar icons back and to have my iPod recognized is to log out, disconnect iPod and then log in again.

I am running 10.2.8 (this happened in 10.2.6 as well).

Just ordered my copy of Panther so hopefully this is already resolved.
