Ripping Copy Controlled CD in iTunes

Ok, I have some copy controlled CD's and I want to add them to my iPod but they have that anoying copy control on them. I have not tried ripping them yet but was wondering if it is possible to do so in itunes. I heard something about holding the 'Shift' key or something but does that work in iTunes?

Only a few copy-controlled disks have the program that requires you to hold the shift key. iTunes will rip most copy-controlled disks, but it will occasionally run into problems that can only be fixxed by using the right cdrom or dvdrom. When I have problems I usually will have to try and rip them using my LiteOn dvdrom, and I believe that there is at least one more manufacturer that can rip them.So, give it a try and see what happens.
