Question about Smart Playlists

Yes--but it's going to take a little work. Go into your library, click on genre so all your songs are sorted by genre. Now, use the "comment" field to tag your Rap and RandB songs with something--"Soul", for example.

Now, create a smartlist using the comment "soul", with rating greater than two...

There are other ways to do it, but if your comment tag is free, this would be easy--this is what I've been doing as an easy work around, until Apple comes up with a better solution...

And, if you want to make it so that it's dynamically updated on your ipod, you can add a last played to the bottom--so that the playlist will always play "fresh" tunes...It's pretty sweet.
