iTunes Installation
My wife & myself have 3G Ipods.We use XP pro & have our own profiles.I can mount my pod & download music.when we try to mount my wifes pod on her iTunes we get an error message that says iTune not installed correctly!Her pod mounts OK on my iTunes.Any ideas.

OK try again admit on rereading your comment apt.
a) One Machine running XP pro, 2 user profiles.
b) 2 iPods
c) Both work on my profile.
d) Wifes won't on hers.iTunes error not installed correctly.

OK, I'll quit it with the jokes - I intentionally asked Chris to chime in because I knew he'd have something witty. :D
I don't know for sure, but I don't think iTunes is really set up to handle windows profiles. I don't think they were too knowledgable in that when they designed it - I could be wrong though.
Because there is only one instance of itunes on your PC, even though you have it in two different profiles I just don't know how it's going to handle it.
Sorry, wish I could be more help.
Oh, one thing though, be careful when you mount your iPod. Wouldn't want you to damage the docking port. ;)

I must confess that my first post was not intentionally funny!
You will probably appreciate the theory was to be able to manage both libraries using our own user profiles.Could one of us use Enphod to manage a library whilst the other uses iTunes?
I use EAC/LAME to rip/encode not iTunes,and place music in seperate folders.
