Cant burn purchased tunes?
I'm new to iTunes for Windows, but I think something is screwy. Whenever I try to burn a CD copy of something I've purchased through the Music Store, I get this message: "None of the items in this playlist can be burned to disc." The files are authorized, they play just fine. They have not been burned even once before.
Also, when I try to use iTunes to burn old MP3's, it wastes a disc by burning only a quick directory, but not the actual files.
Anybody have any idea what's going on?

That means it would burn the special MP3 disc type, which is NOT a normal audio CD. Because the tunes you purchased from the iTMS contain DRM, you are not allowed to burn them in MP3 disc format (which would produces files sans DRM). If you change the disc type to Audio CD (the type you can play in a normal CD player), it should work.

That worked HiRez, thank you. Shame on me for assuming it was tech problem and not a simple prefs issue. Too many years in Windows world, I guess...

Glad it works for you, but honestly that is a very unhelpful message that it gave you, it could certainly be more descriptive. I really hate seeing error dialogs that say things like "An error has occured." or "The operation could not be completed." Lazy programmers!
