What settings to rip CDs?

Hello everyone.

Question. I am a new user of Itunes for windows. I previously was ripping my cd's at 192 kpbs in mp3 format with the dreaded MMJB. Now I have the option of ripping with AAC files, as you all know.

My question is, what does everyone recommend I rip at? I do have a very big collection, so I'd like to fill up my 30 GB Ipod (yet, I don't want to take up huge amounts of space with each song).

However, I am also very picky about sound quality (hence my previous ripping at 192 kbps). Right now I'm thinking of ripping at 192 kbps with AAC. Will lowering to 128 kbps make a real difference? Hope to hear your thoughts. Thanks!!!!!:)
